Holed up in an Embassy somewhere in their capital, the exiled attempted dictator Manuel Zelaya has determined exactly who is to blame for his situation. It should come as no surprise as to the culprits.
Its the Joooooos.
Someone once said their are three levels of conspiracy nuts in the world. The first kind is kid of quirky but almost normal-seeming. The second gets into stem-winders on various organizations and people determining world events. The third does the same thing, except their conspiracy always ends up with the Joooooos controlling everything.
And Manuel Zelaya? He falls into the latter category. Apparently, he just can't take all the radiation and mind-altering gas that the Zionist Israeli commandos are pumping into the embassy.
And the position of our government is that he should be in charge down there. Sad, ain't it?

Where To Begin on The Egypt Speech?
So many things, so little time...
Nuclear Power for Iran? No Problem! Nuclear Power for the US? What, are you crazy or something?
People building houses=People getting shoved in gas chambers.
Can't tell others whether or not to have nukes...but Iran, you can't have nukes.
While there was a lot of good in the speech, is it really anything we haven't heard before? Religion of peace, not at war with Islam, Democracy is great...wasn't there some other guy who made that speech a million times? The main difference is this time, the speaker gets to brag on his Muslim heritage, and make a few empty plattitudes, plus mangle history. You know, basically make the typical Obama speech. Might they listen? Here's hoping.
Bottom line, Obama is still campaigning. And that's great for him. For the rest of us...that's up in the air.

Dateline: Washington, February 14, 2010 (A Parody...We Hope)
THE WHITE HOUSE-President Obama, Peace Be Upon Him, issued a statement from the South Lawn this morning on last night's nuclear attacks on Tel Aviv and Haifa, Israel, by Iran.
"We call on both sides for restraint at this time," the President said in a charismatic prepared statement. "The grievances of both sides must be respected. I call on the leaders of both Iran and any surviving Israeli citizens to refrain from any further violence. We can achieve so much if we simply come together, sit down and talk."
The Iranian government characterized the attacks as "responses to the continued Zionist aggressors and their enablers, the Great Satan, America." President Obama ruled out military action, stating, "the United States has done too much to exacerbate the situation in the Middle East." Indeed, the Iranian government promised to "reign destruction down upon the Great Satan."
It is doubtful that the American public would be in favor of such action in any case. With the nation wracked by high interest rates, gas rationing, and its military compassionately decreased, the US would be hard-pressed to militarily leverage the Iranian government.
President Obama seemed hopeful, however, for a peaceful resolution to the crisis. "I have spoken with President Achmedenijad," he said, recalling their late-2009 meeting in Tehran. "Just months ago he assured me that with the removal of our troops from Iraq, and their replacement with Iranian peacekeepers, that the Middle East would be an example of progress and change. The actions of the past twelve hours are inconsistent with those promises. Indeed, this is not the man I came to know last fall.
"I know that the last thing we'd need is to incite the Iranians into further violence. Think of what the situation would be like had we not scrapped our aggressive missile defense systems."

It's Official
Nothing surprises me anymore.
Read the whole thing at Free Republic:

But according to a statement from Ma'ariv yesterday, the Obama campaign actually leaked the note to reporters before Obama even placed it in the wall. Yediot Aharonot, Israel's most popular daily, apparently also received a copy of the note in advance but decided not to print it. As a Ma'ariv spokesman told the Jerusalem Post:
Barack Obama's note was approved for publication in the international media even before he put in the Kotel [Western Wall], a short time after he wrote it at the King David Hotel in Jerusalem.

Which Senator Said That?
“Lord, if only I could have talked with Hitler, all this might have been avoided.”
If you said Barack Obama, Hilary Clinton, Joe Biden, or even Chuck Hagel, you'd be wrong, but you'd know that. It was the quote used today by President Bush as he addressed the Israeli Knesset in Jerusalem, discussing appeasement and the idea that all we need to do for there to be peace in the world is simply to talk to our enemies. It's an appropriate quotation, since so many of us believe that if we meet face to face with those whose stated desire is the destruction of our country and its way of life, they'll change their mind and love us.
Neville Chamberlain was had at Munich, and the entire world knows it. You can probably see the piece of paper that Hitler and Mussolini signed somewhere in the British or French archives (it's probably not on display in, say, the Czech Republic or Poland). People who are fanatics, Churchill observed, will never change their mind or the subject. And so it is with those who desire your death, destruction, or subjugation. You would think that Jimmy Carter would have learned that after the Soviets duped him on Afghanistan. Is it any different today? Apparently so, as all that stands between us and peace in our time is cowboy diplomacy.
The quote, by the way, was Idaho Republican Senator William Borah, an isolationist, made in 1939, as recorded in William K. Hutchinson's book Borah, 1961. Hutchinson records it made in a conversation with Borah. Apparently, Borah held himself in the same high regard as today's Congress does itself. Would that the rest of us felt the same, eh?

On this date in 1948, in Tel Aviv
David Ben-Gurion read the Israeli Declaration of Independence in public, inaugurating the State of Israel. In doing so, the best ally of the US and the first functioning democracy in the Middle East was created.
So on this Day of Independence, I say to all our friends in Israel: Mazel Tov and L'chaim! I shall drink to your continued existence this very evening.
