Where To Begin on The Egypt Speech?

So many things, so little time...

Nuclear Power for Iran? No Problem! Nuclear Power for the US? What, are you crazy or something?

People building houses=People getting shoved in gas chambers.

Can't tell others whether or not to have nukes...but Iran, you can't have nukes.

While there was a lot of good in the speech, is it really anything we haven't heard before? Religion of peace, not at war with Islam, Democracy is great...wasn't there some other guy who made that speech a million times? The main difference is this time, the speaker gets to brag on his Muslim heritage, and make a few empty plattitudes, plus mangle history. You know, basically make the typical Obama speech. Might they listen? Here's hoping.

Bottom line, Obama is still campaigning. And that's great for him. For the rest of us...that's up in the air.

Your Obama Moment of Genius

Today, The One said that the US is one of the world's largest Muslim countries.

No, seriously.

A quick check confirms the US has the 56th largest Muslim population in the world, at somewhere around 3 million. Which is less than Burkina Faso.

Much like their jobs numbers, I think they just pull these out of the air sometimes.

Plain and simple, Barack Obama is exactly the wrong man.

From his tax plan that doesn't make any sense if you actually pay attention to it (because its not a tax increase if we just let the tax cuts expire!), to his left-wing judicial philosophy, to his seeming lack of concern about the threat of Islamic extremism, to his pie-in-the-sky plans to spend every dollar he can get his hands on, he's a nightmare candidate.

Let's not even touch on the cult-like devotion, the egocentrism, the Great Seal of Obamaland, et al.

John McCain isn't perfect. But I can guarantee you that spending won't go through the roof, that judges won't be making stuff up on the fly, and that the mullahs will be scared every time he gets on TV.

In a time full of uncertainty, it is not the time to be giving the Big Job to a guy whose main qualification for the office is that he speaks well.

Its True: Barry Has Learned From Clinton

Barry told us earlier in the week, when describing how tough he was to subsist on hotel food for eighteen months, that because he'd gone up against Hilary Clinton in the primaries, that he was experienced.

And apparently he's learned from Hil-Rod, who once claimed to have inquired about joining the Marines in her youth (I hear you laughing out there. C'mon, she was serious! Honest!). The Messiah told George Steph today that he thought about joining the military in his youth.

(This is also the same interview where he talked about his "Muslim faith." Way to stop those secret Muslim rumors, Barry. I'm waiting for the inevitable blaming of the campaign staffer.)

I'd make a joke about the Clintons teaching him how to break his political opponents legs, like his surrogates have tried to do to Governor Palin, but he is tied up with those savery Chicago characters like Tony Rezko, Saddam's cousin, the Ayers-Dorhn clan, and the cast of thousands that is his church. He didn't need the Clintons to learn how to be a legbreaker.
