Well, I'm Glad This Settled It

Putting an end to quite possibly the stupidest non-controversy in McCain's candidacy:

Senate Resolution 511 has just declared John Sidney McCain III a natural born citizen of the United States. The authors are Sens. McCaskill, Leahy, Obama, Clinton, and Webb, all of the D persuasion.

Well, good. Since, you know, being born with two American parents isn't enough.

(For those of you who missed it: A month or so ago, the New York Times ran an article questioning whether or not Senator McCain, who was born on a military base in the Panama Canal Zone, is actually a US Citizen. This non-controversy erupted shortly before Jeremiah Wright was introduced to the national consciousness).
