An anonymous comment below asked about Jeremy Martin, and what he's up to. Mr. Martin declined to run for office this year; I asked him why and his response was, "I ran last time and went to jail. I'm afraid of what will happen if I win."
Yeah, District 19 was probably his to lose, especially after Mssrs. Franks, Hood, Clark, and Moore made him the most popular man in the district. But, he's working on his Masters, and writing a Social Studies cirriculum for Tupelo Christian Preparatory School, and campaigning would simply be too much when he's so close to completing both.
So there you go; bleg responded to. Hopefully we'll hear more from Mr. Martin in the future. I get the feeling that he's not done with politics, not by a long shot.
