Geese and Ganders

What is good for the Goose, the saying goes, is good for the Gander. Thanks to Jake Tapper, we can now give the Gander (Barry Messiah) the same treatment the Goose (George W. Bush) has gotten over the last eight years.

Add one to the list: Obama says his uncle helped liberate Auschwitz. Which is nice-if his uncle turned out to be a Soviet Red Army Soldier, since they, and not American soldiers, liberated the camp, which is located in Poland. It's not one of the 57 states he's visited, so I don't blame him for not knowing that Poland was dominated by the Soviets for nearly 50 years following the war.

I feel bad for Jake Tapper. He's liable to be fired and then tarred and feathered for questioning the intelligence of Barry Messiah. Were this George Bush or any other Republican-heck, if it was Hillary!, the Lioness of Tuzla-the media would have jumped in with both feet. I won't even touch the issue of pandering to the Jewish vote, which seems to be slipping away from him. Instead, we get more Self-Help crap.

Edited to add this gaffe from yesterday:

On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes — and I see many of them in the audience here today — our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.

He sees dead people.
