What Obama Said In The Debate

Two nights ago, Senators Hillary! and Barry Messiah had their 7,259th debate in Pennsylvania. A lot of things were said, a lot of things were brought up (including his past with the terrorists of the Weather Underground, Jeremiah Wright, and his crazy views on the capital gains tax-even if it decreases revenue we should increase the tax, just to be fair? What's fair about that?). All in all it was a bad night for Barry Messiah, and for Hillary!, who both took bumps and bruises and frankly, the winner in the whole shooting match wasn't even there.

But the most telling thing that Obamessiah said, to me, wasn't about Ayers, or Wright, or taxes. It was in his response to Ayers, of course:

“The fact is that I’m also friendly with Tom Coburn, one of the most conservative Republicans in the United States Senate,” Obama said, “who during his campaign once said that it might be appropriate to apply the death penalty to those who carried out abortions. Do I need to apologize for Mr. Coburn’s statements? Because I certainly don’t agree with those, either.”

I think this is exactly the problem with the Democratic party in 2008.

See, to most Americans, the problems we face are pretty easy to identify. They cut our heads off, they try to kill our soldiers, they send us bad dog food and toys, they push up the price of oil. Our economy is sliding, our dollar is weakening. These are problems.

But to Barry Messiah, the problems are not these issues. Sure, he might talk about them, he might offer 'solutions' (seems to me these solutions are to raise taxes, regulate, beg for forgiveness, and run like hell). No, the problem is Tom Coburn and people like him. The problem is you and me. The problem is people who vote Republican. The problem is Republican ideas.

See, he's already thrown his grandmother under the bus. Who's sacred after grandma? What's putting tire marks on Tom Coburn? Because here's what happened: Barry Messiah just compared a US Senator, who advocates changing a law peacefully, non-violently, and has, to my knowledge, never committed a serious crime, with a guy who said he regretted he didn't do enough in the 1960s after trying to blow up the Pentagon. Tom Coburn didn't blow anything up. He's never advocated killing people to stop abortion. He, like me, is against it, probably moreso than me. Wanting abortion illegal and killing to stop it are two completely different things. It's the same thing with the 'clinging bitterly to God and Guns and Hate.' You are the problem with America, America.

What's worse is there's an entire political party who thinks just like him. Jeremiah Wright, William Ayers, the random Hamas or Al-qaeda member, Mahmoud, Hugo, Bashir: None of them are the problem. They are not the enemy. You are. You racist, xenophobic, Jehovah-obsessed, gun-toting imbicile. Only Barry Messiah can save us from ourselves.

Barry wants to talk about real issues. Okay, Barry. Your judgement and beliefs are an issue. Tell me why all your friends seem to either be South Chicago leg breakers, questionable foreign investors, unrepentant terrorists, hate mongering pastors, and bitter wives.
