A Funny Story on a Poll

A friend of mine was called a few nights ago by a polling firm soliciting his opinion on the Lt. Governor's race; since he wasn't asked about any other races I can only assume it was commissioned by the Franks people.

Why do I say that? Well, he's a Gallo fan (aren't we all, though?) and he knows that I have...opinions on the matter of Mr. Franks. He couldn't remember the name of the Republican nominee, so when his voting preference was asked for, he answered, "The guy running against Franks!"

The pollster's response?

"That'd be Charlie Ross, sir."
