Not Good Enough

I missed Sid Salter's blog entry for a while (outside issues). Sid made some good points (even tying in Ike Brown). But I'm going to say its not enough. If this was a more technologically savvy state it might be enough to inform people of the Jeremy Martin fiasco, in which a good man's name was dragged through the mud in order to 'send a message'-and that message was for the Republicans to not mess with the Golden Boy.

I want Sunday edition. I want front page. Because if Phil Bryant had done something so hideous to another human being, it would have already been splashed across the front pages of every major newspaper in the state. It wouldn't leave, either. There'd be interviews. There'd be news pieces on TV stations. Heck, Bill O'Reilly might put it on his show.

If there ever was a case of 'people vs. the powerful,' this is it. John Edwards might even show us his special Ken Doll feature-crying. If nothing else shows you that the Golden Boy and Samson are unfit to continue to serve the people of Mississippi, this is it.

But hey, let's enjoy another Tax Swap piece while we wait.
