Remember David Hampton's statement in his blog that the American economy stinks, and John Edwards' candidacy (and that of Jamie Franks, by osmosis) would soon be picking up steam because of our economic mess?
GDP over the past five years? Up 11%. Hope that makes it into the echo chamber that is the Clarion-Ledger offices. Somehow I doubt it.
